Barbara V. Stanton

Pawtucket – Barbara V. (Vigeant) Stanton, 91, passed away at home on Monday, October 3, 2022. She was the beloved wife of the late John J. Stanton. A lifelong resident of Pawtucket, she was a daughter of the late Joseph O. and Helena L. G. (Gelinas) Vigeant. Barbara was a supervisor at the Department of Employment and Training, Pawtucket, for many years until retiring. She leaves nieces and nephews, Eileen Sawyer, Julian Peters, Edith Barry, all of Pawtucket, Leslie Peters of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, David Pietraszka of Westerly and Craig Cummings of Virginia. She was the sister of the late Dorothy E. Brown and Evelyn B. Anderson and the aunt of the late Thomas Pietraszka. Services followed by interment at Mount Saint Mary Cemetery, Pawtucket, were private. Arrangements are entrusted with WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, Pawtucket.
