Barbara J. Ross

Seekonk – Barbara J. (Matthews) Ross, 87, passed away on Friday, December 27, 2024.

She was the beloved wife of the late Peter G.

Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Alexander Ross and Elizabeth Mae (MacIver) Matthews.

Barbara was a graduate of William E.

Tolman High School in Pawtucket and went on to a career as a credit specialist at A.T.

She was an avid reader, loved traveling and finding good deals.

Barbara will be lovingly remembered by all whose lives she has touched over the past eighty-seven years.

She leaves two children, Holly J.

Fournier and her husband, Brian, of Seekonk and Stuart P.

Ross and his wife, Heather, of Yorktown, Virginia; six granddaughters, Emily Fournier, Elizabeth Ruscito and her husband, Johnathan, Jillian Fournier, Lilya Fournier, Sarah Ross and Rebecca Ross and several nieces and nephews.

She was the sister of the late Mary Joyce Brown and Lois Elizabeth Doucette.

Relatives and friends are welcome to attend VISITATION on Tuesday, December 31st at 10:30 a.m. in Memorial Baptist Church, 340 Central Ave in Seekonk followed by SERVICES at 11 a.m. in the church.

Interment at Seekonk Cemetery will be private.
