Barbara M. Murphy Mccaughey

Pawtucket – Barbara M. (Wilczek) Murphy McCaughey, 86, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 17, 2014. She was the beloved wife of the late Jeremiah Murphy and the late Edward McCaughey. Born in Pawtucket, she was a daughter of the late Edward and Martha (McNally) Wilczek. Barbara was the senior purchasing agent at Royal Electric, Pawtucket for 46 years until her retirement. She later worked as the part time receptionist for the late Dr. Ronald L. Ciombor, DDS in Pawtucket for over 10 years. Barbara enjoyed spending summers at her home in Little Compton for over 25 years. She also enjoyed reading and was a talented knitter. Barbara leaves a daughter, Maureen B. Ciombor, wife of the late Dr. Ronald Ciombor, DDS, of Plainville; a son, Kevin M. Murphy and his wife, Jo-Ann of Pawtucket; five grandchildren, Jaclyn Cunningham and her husband, Mark, Dr. Lindsay Brislin and her husband, Christopher, Justin Ciombor and his wife, Andrea, Katelyn Murphy and Michael Murphy; five great-grandchildren, Henry,...
