Pawtucket – Barbara (Ogilvie) Milloy, 86, born on January 24, 1926, passed away Wednesday, March 7, 2012 at the Philip Hulitar Inpatient Hospice Center, Providence, after being transferred from RI Hospital.

She was the beloved wife of the late Thomas Milloy, Jr.

Born in Central Falls, RI, she was the beloved daughter of the late Alexander and Margaret (Maclaren ) Ogilvie.

Barbara worked as a switchboard operator at Arnold’s Bakery, Rendering Company, and Balfour Company for 25 years before retiring in 1989 as a file clerk specialist.

She was also an inserter for the Herald News, Fall River.

More recently she worked as a security officer for RI Emergency Security, Co., Central Falls.

Barbara was a member of the Calvin Presbyterian Church in Cumberland, where she sang in the church choir; she also belonged to the Cumberland & Lincoln Chorus.

She had belonged to many organizations, such as, Daughters of the Heather, Daughters of Argil, Lady Gordon Lodge, Milford, MA and the Lady Hamilton, Social Order, Beauchaunt; Order of the Eastern Star, Queen Chapter # 2, Past Matron; member of the Grand Cross of Color & Eastern Lights.

Barbara was a tap dancer for minstrel shows.

A Highland dancer, she also taught Scottish dancing to many pupils for 32 years until the dance was modernized.

Barbara even played the bagpipes for the Thistle Girls Pipe Band in Boston, MA.

Barbara leaves one daughter, Andrina Barbara (Milloy) Barlog and her husband, Charles Edward Barlog of North Smithfield, RI.

She was the sister of the late Alexander, David, George and Douglas Ogilvie.

Her funeral will be held Saturday at 9 a.m. from WILLIAM W.

TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by services at 10 a.m. in Calvin Presbyterian Church, Angell Rd., Cumberland.

Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park, Johnston.

VISITATION will be Friday 3 to 7 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, gifts in her memory to the Providence Rescue League through Calvin Presbyterian Church will be appreciated.
