Barbara C. Gentile

Cranston – Barbara C. (Womack) Gentile, 78, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, July 20, 2016. She was the beloved wife of the late Raymond L. Gentile. Born in Pawtucket, the daughter of the late Clement A. and Aurore M. (Boudreau) Womack, she resided in Cranston most of her life. Barbara worked alongside her beloved husband and family for many years operating Gentile’s Catering Service. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and a longtime communicant of the former St. Ann’s Church. Barbara leaves a son, Raymond Gentile and his wife, Susan; a daughter, Debra Palumbo and her husband, Jeffrey and four grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Michael and Victoria Ruggieri and Dimitry Gentile. She was the sister of the late Donald C. and Kenneth A. Womack. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday at 11a.m. in the Church of St. Leo the Great, 697 Central Ave., Pawtucket. Interment will be private.
