Barbara M. Fontaine-Blanset

North Kingstown – Barbara M. (Gauthier) Fontaine-Blanset, 82, formerly of Pawtucket, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 3, 2014. She was the beloved wife of the late Walter G. Fontaine, Sr., and late Jack Blanset. Born in Pawtucket, she was one of six children of the late Philip J. and Marie B. (Doucette) Gauthier. Barbara worked as a CNA until retiring, she then worked as a school lunch aide in the East Greenwich School Department for several years. Barbara was an avid card player and especially enjoyed playing Bridge. She leaves a daughter, JoAnn Morel and her husband, Richard of North Kingstown; two sons, Philip Fontaine of Norton, MA and Alan Fontaine and his wife, Debra of New Bedford, MA; six grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
