Attleboro – Barbara H. (Gaff) Dooley, 85, passed away on Wednesday, January 17, 2018.
She was the beloved wife of the late Donald Dooley, Sr., who passed two years ago, this Sunday, just shy of their 65th wedding anniversary.
Born in Pawtucket, she was a daughter of the late James H. and Helen L. (Fritz) Gaff.
Barbara worked at School House Candy in Pawtucket for fifteen years until her retirement in 1983.
She loved reading and in more recent years enjoyed listening books-on-tape, with the help of the Perkins Library in Watertown, MA.
Barbara was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, and her family was paramount in her life.
She especially enjoyed having Christmas Eve gatherings at her home with her family and her dear friends.
Barbara leaves a daughter, Donna L.
Dooley of Concord, NH; a son, Robert J.
Dooley and his wife, Cynthia, of Attleboro; a daughter-in-law, Deborahlynn Dooley of South Attleboro; a brother, William Gaff and his wife, Arlene, of Knoxville, TN; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
She was the mother of the late Donald Dooley, Jr. and the sister of the late James H.
Services will be held on Monday at 11 a.m. at WILLIAM W.
TRIPP Funeral Home, Pawtucket, followed by interment at Highland Memorial Park, Johnston.
VISITATION will be held on Sunday 1 to 4 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts to Perkins Library, 175 North Beacon St., Watertown, MA 02472 will be appreciated.
