Augusta D. "Gussie" Cole

Seekonk - Augusta D. "Gussie" (Simone) Cole, 90, passed away Friday, January 7, 2011. She was the beloved wife of the late James F. Cole. Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Albert and Helen (Zander) Simone, she resided in Seekonk most of her life. Gussie was an avid Boston sports fan; she loved the Red Sox, Celtics and Bruins. She leaves a daughter, Patricia A. Valentine and her husband Tom of Acton, MA and a grandson, Nicholas Wishart and his fiancee Amanda Trogus of Pawtucket. She was the sister of the late Edna Lane and Alberta Simone. Services will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. at WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket.
