Audrey M. Hill

Rumford – Audrey M. (Adams) Hill, 86, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 25, 2023. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Hazel (White) Adams. Audrey worked in furniture sales and retired from the former Alperts in Seekonk after many years. She was the proprietor of former Phyllis’ Dress of Riverside, and worked in real estate prior to that. An animal advocate, Audrey enjoyed supporting animal causes and caring for her own pets. She was an avid traveler, having visited nearly fifty-five countries throughout the world.  Never at a loss for words, Audrey had a love for journalism. In fact, she published 2 books: The Lithuanians, a story of love and betrayal, and The Preachers Wife. She was recently working on her 3rd book, Kristin Nicole! The books always included her interest and knowledge of WW II.  Audrey will be remembered for her kindness, empathy and willingness to help those in need.
