Seekonk – Audrey G. (Gilroy) Cunha, a retired educator, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, October 3, 2013.

She was the beloved wife of Joseph A.

Born in New Hampshire, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Jennie E.

Audrey began her teaching career in the Pawtucket School Department in 1968 at the Flora S.

In 1984 she became the Principal of the Potter - Burns School, and in 1990 became Principal of the Agnes E.

Little School until retiring in 1999.

She enjoyed traveling and spending winters in Port St.

Lucie, Florida, but most of all she was a devoted mother and loving grandmother.

Besides her husband, she leaves a son, Cole C.

Calistra and his wife, Melissa of North Attleboro; a stepson, Joseph Cunha, Jr. of Pawtucket; two grandchildren, Abigail and Jill Calistra; a brother, David Gilroy of Hanover, MA; her mother-in-law, Virginia Cunha of Pawtucket and a niece, Jennifer Marchesiani.

Her funeral will be held Monday at 9 a.m. from WILLIAM W.

TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St.

Anthony Church, 32 Lawn Ave., Pawtucket.

Interment will follow at Mt.

VISITATION will be Sunday 2 – 5 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts to St.

Anthony’s Church Food Closet or St.

Jude Children’s Hospital, P.O.
