Artur "Tuii" J. Gomes-Debarros

Pawtucket – Artur “Tuii” J.

Gomes-DeBarros, 24, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, November 4, 2020.

Born in Boston, Massachusetts, he was the son of Artur J.

DeBarros of Pawtucket, and Elizeth Monteiro DeBarros of Central Falls.

A talented musician, Tuii was a gifted singer and songwriter.

He was a gentle, caring soul who was known for his willingness to help others.

Tuii loved his family and was a proud father of his newborn son.

Growing up, he enjoyed watching sports and was a proud member of the semi-professional Rhode Island Riptide football team.

Tuii’s spirit and beautiful smile will be greatly missed by all.

Besides his parents, he is survived by a son, Ermias Izel DeBarros; two sisters, Elizalin Oliveira and Demi DeBarros; a brother, Adrian DeBarros; his paternal grandmother and maternal grandfather; a niece; two nephews; an uncle, Octavio Lima and many other aunts, uncles and cousins.

His funeral and burial in Mount St.

Mary Cemetery, Pawtucket, will be private.

Public VISITATION will be held on Wednesday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. in WILLIAM W.
