Arthur R. Pitassi

Arthur R. Pitassi, 90, passed away on Wednesday, March 26, 2014. He was the beloved husband of Rose (Oliveria) Pitassi for sixty-six years. Born in North Providence, he was a son of the late Antonio and Jean (MacHardy) Pitassi. Arthur was a World War II U.S. Army veteran. He loved hunting deer and bear; fishing and playing cards. Besides his wife, he leaves a son, David Pitassi and Linda LaCroix; a daughter, Carol Tucker and her husband, David all of Seekonk; two sisters, Shirley Gemma of Barrington and Margaret Murray of Seekonk; a brother, Tim Pitassi in Florida; six grandchildren, David Pitassi, Timmy Pitassi, Robbie Pitassi, Lisa Fontaine, David Tucker, Jr. and Darren Tucker; nine great-grandchildren, Autumn , Ashton and Seth Tucker, Caitlyn, Megan, Tyler, Hunter, Patricia and Kristy Pitassi and many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Edward Pitassi, Mary Shepherd, Jean Abel, Dorothy Fortunati and Nancy Hodgkins. Services with Military Honors will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at WILLIAM...
