Armand P. Jolin

December 2, 1940 — January 11, 2022

Jolin, 81, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on Tuesday, January 11, 2022.

He was the beloved husband of the late Marilyn Quinn Jolin, with whom he enjoyed traveling and eating at the best local spots.

Born in Pawtucket, he was the son of the late Paul and Yvonne (Camire) Jolin.

Armand was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and went on to a career as a finish carpenter.

He had his own carpentry business, building many beautiful homes in the area, before focusing on commercial work with H.

In his retirement, he could be found working in his shop and was heavily recruited by his children for projects around their houses and for some sage advice. "Gramps" was also very supportive of his grandchildren's activities and was a fixture at sporting events and important life celebrations.

He loved to be by the sea and took every opportunity he could to visit Galilee and the Narragansett beaches.

Armand leaves two sons, Michael P.

Jolin and his wife, Maureen, of Sharon, MA, and David W.

Jolin and his wife, Suzanne, of Rehoboth, MA; a daughter, Christine E.

Kovner and her husband, David, of Canton, MA; six grandchildren, Madison, Devin, Ainsley and Reagan Jolin, Ryan, and Ashley Kovner; a niece, Shirley Gelinas, and a nephew, Richard Gelinas.

He was the brother of the late Helen (Alfred) Gelinas.

Relatives and friends are welcome to attend VISITATION on Thursday, January 20th from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at WILLIAM W.

TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket.

Interment with Military Honors at Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Exeter, RI, will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts to the Amedisys Foundation, 1 Catamore Blvd., East Providence, RI 02914, to make hospice care accessible to all would be appreciated.
