Pawtucket – Arlette M.
Peguero, 50, passed away unexpectedly at home on Thursday, October 3, 2024.
Born in the Dominican Republic, she was a daughter of Dulce F. (Gonzalez) Peguero of Pawtucket and the late Antonio A.
Arlette had resided in The Bronx, New York before moving to Pawtucket in 2006.
She had been a police officer in Manhattan until 2006 and was most recently a correctional officer at the ACI, Cranston.
Arlette was very creative and enjoyed sharing her crafts with family, friends and anyone who showed interest.
She also enjoyed refinishing furniture and creating and selling jewelry.
Arlette had a passion for caring; for her animals, her plants and especially for people.
Besides her mother, Dulce, she leaves a daughter, Chanelle R.
Peguero formerly of Pawtucket and most recently of Fall River; four sisters, Mireya Abedes-Baez of the Dominican Republic, Josefina Arvelo-Peguero of New York, Dulce A.
Peguero of Pawtucket and Mayra O.
Peguero-Bueno and her husband, Mario Bueno of Cranston; four nieces, Mayrette Stonis, Asia M.
Bueno; a great-niece, Skye Stonis and her loving pets, her dog, Princess and cat, Thalo.
She was the sister of the late Antonio Arvelo-Peguero.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 6th from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. and conclude with prayers and family remembrances at WILLIAM W.
