April E. Mclaughlin

Pawtucket – April E. (Jacobsen) McLaughlin, 66, passed away Wednesday, January 16, 2019. She was the beloved wife of Dennis J. McLaughlin for forty-six years. Born on Block Island, New Shoreham, she was a daughter of Gwendolyn (Powell) Hart of Block Island and the late John Jacobsen. April had resided in Pawtucket for fifty-five years. She had been a secretary at Polymetallurgical, Attleboro for eighteen years and was previously employed by FRAM, Rumford. April enjoyed playing High-Low-Jack and was an avid sports fan. Besides her husband and mother, she leaves a son, Jason T. McLaughlin and his wife, Alana Bergeron of Pawtucket; a granddaughter, Alyssa McLaughlin of Connecticut; a brother, John Jacobsen of Block Island and a sister, Allison Male of Pawtucket. Services will be private. Visitation and flowers are respectfully omitted.
