Pawtucket – Anthony “Spike” S. Walsh, 79, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 5, 2018. He was the husband of Theresa (Roy) Johnston. Born in Attleboro, he was the son of the late Dorothy Long. Anthony was a United States Army veteran and the proprietor of Friends & Family Janitorial Services for the past 58 years. He was the former proprietor of Spike’s Clamcakes & Chowder and a longtime sponsor of the annual “Pumpkins in the Park” event at Slater Memorial Park, Pawtucket. Spike was a member of the IDIP Club, Pawtucket. He will also be remembered as a local political activist, serving as the Founder and Chairman of the Concerned Citizens Committee, Chairman of Project Pride and the host of the local TV talk show, “Anthony Walsh & Company”. His funeral with Military Honors will be held on Thursday at 9 a.m. from WILLIAM W.
