Anthony Roderick, Jr.

Spring Hill, Florida - Anthony Roderick, Jr., 83, passed away on Wednesday, March 18, 2020. He was the beloved husband of the late Maria P. (Gomes) Roderick. Born in East Providence, he was a son of the late Anthony Roderick and Anna (Tabela) Allen. Anthony had resided in Providence before moving to Spring Hill, Florida over thirty years ago. He proudly served in the United States Army and had been employed by the Gorham Manufacturing Company, Providence, for thirty-six years before retiring. Anthony leaves a daughter, Lisa Tavares and her husband, Danny, of Pawtucket; a son, David A. Roderick and his wife, Laurie, of Seekonk; a brother, Don Pedro “Bobby” Roderick and his wife, Beverly, of Florida; a sister, Joanna Varan Brito of East Providence; five grandchildren, Nicole, Anthony, DJ, Stacy and Paul and ten great-grandchildren.
