Anna T. Lavoie

Pawtucket – Anna T. (Barone) Lavoie, 96, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 3, 2016. She married the late Raymond L. Lavoie, the love of her life, in the spring of 1946 and they enjoyed 55 years of marriage until his death in 2001. Born in North Providence, a daughter of the late James and Mary (DeLuca) Barone, she had resided in Pawtucket since 1948. Anna was a communicant of the Church of St. Leo the Great; member of St. Leo’s Spirited Seniors and The Holy Dusters. She was a former member of St. Leo’s Bowling League, Tabernacle Society, Prayer Line and Legion of Mary. Anna was also a former Leader of Girl Scout Troop No. 436 at St. Leo’s for 30 years, and a former member of St. Mary’s Senior Saints, Seekonk. She leaves three daughters, Marilyn A. Hilton and her husband, Richard of Cumberland, Elaine M. Bailey and her husband, Robert of Pawtucket and Michele T. Lanciaux and her husband, Henri of Seekonk; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister...
