Anna S. Fusi

Pawtucket – Anna S. (Zuromski) Fusi, 94, passed away at home on Wednesday, November 16, 2011, surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late E. James Fusi, they were married for 62 years. Born in Central Falls, a daughter of the late Stanley D. and Sophia (Niechwiedowicz) Zuromski, she resided in Pawtucket most of her life. Anna was a graduate of the St. Joseph Hospital School of Nursing where she received her LPN degree, she worked in the office of the late Bertrem Holdridge, MD, Broad St., Providence for seventeen years until retiring. She was a founding mother of St. Teresa Church, and a member of St. Teresa’s Seniors where she held the positions of Secretary and Acting President. She was also a volunteer at the Memorial Hospital for seventeen years.
