Anna A. Carty

Pawtucket – Anna A. (Seftic) Carty, 91, a retired Registered Nurse, passed away Monday, February 8, 2016. She was the beloved wife of the late James V. Carty, Sr. Born in Central Falls, a daughter of the late Stefan and Annie (Kraczkocesko) Szewczuk, she resided in Pawtucket since 1956. Anna leaves two daughters, Jacqueline Merrill-Matzner and Joyce Carty-Better both of New York City; two sons, Dennis M. and Thomas M. Carty both of Pawtucket; a sister, Irene Kocima of Pawtucket and three grandchildren, Oliver Merrill, Holden and Emily Better. She was the mother of the late James V. Carty, Jr. VISITATION will begin Friday at 9:15 a.m. at WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in the Church of St. Leo the Great, 697 Central Ave. Interment will follow at Mt.
