South Attleboro, MA - Angelica Andrea Bowers, 50, passed away at home on Tuesday, January 6, 2026. Born in Providence, she was the beloved daughter Constance (Chiperas) Bowers of South Attleboro, MA and the late Jon Bowers.
Angelica was a sweet and compassionate woman who had love for everyone, including animals. A devout Greek Orthodox Christian, Angelica may have been born in Providence, but her personality evoked that of a southern belle. Angelica lived her life fostering her many God-given gifts of intelligence, skills and passion. She enjoyed reading and studying the arts and made a living enhancing the beauty and confidence of others as a licensed cosmetologist and an Avon sales representative. Dancing was a passion that she shared with others as a teacher of tap, ballet and jazz. A talented seamstress, she would create her own fabric Christmas trees and doll clothing, especially for her dolls. Affectionately nicknamed, “Betty Boop” for her favorite doll, Angelica’s personality was positive and full of love. She will be greatly missed by those whose lives she touched.
Alongside her mother, she leaves behind her uncle, John Chiperas and his wife, Patricia.
She was predeceased by her loving grandmother, Angelica (Peskopos) Chiperas, and her uncles, Steve Chiperas and Anthony Chiperas.
