Andrew P. Jouklaris

Attleboro – Andrew P. Jouklaris, 94, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 20, 2013. He was the beloved husband of the late Nora (Greenwood) Jouklaris and the late Joan (McGovern) Jouklaris. Born in Vithos, Kozanis, Greece, he was a son of the late Peter and Theologia (Kampergianis) Jouklaris. Andrew received his preliminary education at Nashua Grammar and High School, and later attended the University of Athens and Northeastern University in Boston, where he majored in mathematics. While studying in Boston, he was inducted into the United States Army as a Tech Sergeant and served overseas and at Fort Adams, Newport, during the Second World War. Andrew worked as a chef at the Stone Ends and Millstone Restaurants in Attleboro; later he worked for Saga Foods until his retirement.
