Andrew E. Girard, Jr.

Pawtucket – Andrew E. Girard, Jr., 62, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, April 28, 2024 surrounded by his family. He was the beloved husband of Melissa A. (Manders) Girard for thirty-nine years. Born in Central Falls, he was the son of the late Andrew E., Sr., and Beatrice A. (Clarkson) Girard. Andrew graduated from Shea High School, Pawtucket, and was a lifelong resident of the city. He worked as an auto mechanic and driver for Broadway Tire & Auto Service, Pawtucket, for many years. An avid coin collector, Andrew enjoyed camping, cooking, fishing and spending time with his family. Besides his wife, he is survived by two sons, Andrew E. Girard, III and his wife, Alicia, of Warwick and Christopher M. Girard and his wife, Kayla, of Pawtucket; two grandsons, Amryn and Grayson; a sister, Sheryl Genest and her husband, Gary, of Johnston; a brother, Mark Girard and his wife, Nene, of Pawtucket; two beloved dogs, Nala and Lola, and several nieces, nephews and dear friends.
