Cumberland – Andrew J.
Dubuc, 57, passed away with family by his side, on the morning of Wednesday, June 5, 2019.
He was the much beloved husband of Christine E. (Johnson) Dubuc for thirty years.
Born in Pawtucket on March 28th, 1962, he was the son of the late Maurice and Claire (Dulude) Dubuc, who raised him and his siblings all while making a loving home on Oak Hill Ave in Seekonk, Massachusetts.
Andrew was a skilled and passionate Carpenter for much of his life.
For 18 years he was a proud member of Local #723 of the New England Carpenters Union and took as much pride in teaching his craft to others as he did in performing it himself.
He used these carpentry skills, and many others, to take upon the task of building his family’s home in Cumberland, Rhode Island.
To do this he enlisted the help of his many talented and loyal friends - who were both incredibly important to him and a constant source of humor.
He was an avid golfer, who belonged to the Rehoboth Country Club for many years and made sure to surround himself with golfers who would provide good competition and good company while playing.
Andrew was a devoted and loving husband and father, who relished in the opportunity to cook meals for his family, and always made sure to cook a sufficient amount so that there would be leftovers.
For a long list of reasons he will be greatly missed.
Besides his loving wife, he leaves a son, Adam Dubuc of Providence; a daughter, Molly Dubuc of Cumberland; six siblings, Paul Dubuc, Jacqueline Jackson, Daniel Dubuc, Cynthia Dubuc, David Dubuc and John Dubuc along with many nieces and nephews.
His funeral will be held on Monday at 9 a.m. from WILLIAM W.
TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Parish, Coyle Dr., Seekonk.
VISITATION will be Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts to the Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center, C/O Hope Hospice & Palliative Care RI, 1085 North Main St., Providence, RI 02904 will be appreciated.
