Ruskin, Florida – Andre P.
Brunelle, 88, formerly of Pawtucket, passed away peacefully with his daughter’s by his side on Friday, March 31, 2023.
He was the former husband of the late Jeannette O. (Plante) Brunelle.
Born in Pawtucket, he was a son of the late Joseph and Germaine (Alix) Brunelle.
Andre resided in Pawtucket most of his life before moving to Ruskin, Florida in 2019.
He was a proud United States Army veteran.
Andre was employed at Ace Armature Company, Pawtucket, until retiring, and was previously a shipper at the former William H.
Haskell Manufacturing Company, Pawtucket, for over twenty years.
He was a member of Jesse’s Roamers Motorcycle Club, Pawtucket.
An avid ice skater, he enjoyed participating in recreational ice skating shows from 1976 until 1986.
In his younger years, he enjoyed square dancing.
Andre is survived by two daughters, Diane Harrison of Lakeland, Florida and Eileen Trotta of Ruskin, Florida; eleven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews including his godson, Thomas Hunter of Pawtucket, and his caregiver, Marlena Buschow.
He was the father of the late Collette Martino and the brother of the late Joseph “Pete” Brunelle, Therese St.
Germaine, Rita Hunter, Marguerite Alix and Bernadette Alix.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Committal Services with Military Honors on Wednesday, May 3, 2023 at 10 A.M. in Mt.
Mary Cemetery Chapel, 661 Prospect St., Pawtucket.
