Andaluza Galvao Fonseca

Pawtucket – Andaluza G. Fonseca, 58, passed away surrounded by her loved ones on Thursday, August 02, 2018 at Rhode Island Hospital.  Born in Brava, Cape Verde, she was the daughter of Adelina (Galvao) Fonseca and the late Joseph M. Azevedo Fonseca. Andaluza worked as an inspector for Interplex in East Providence for ten years.  She was a selfless caregiver to her mother and enjoyed spending time with her family.  She will be greatly missed by the lives she touched.  Besides her mother, she is survived by her brother, Guilherme Fonseca of Pawtucket; five sisters, Nidia Fonseca of Pawtucket, Celina Leitao and her husband, Benvido, of East Providence, Maria Lopes and her husband, Antonio, of Pawtucket, Lucy DeSousa and her husband Walter of Plainville, MA and Angela Pesare and her husband, Edward, of Greenville, and eleven nieces and nephews.
