Brown, Sr., 90, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 28, 2022, surrounded by his loving family.
He was the beloved husband of the late Ilene J. (Fortin) Brown.
Born in North Providence, he was the son of the late Walter J.
Sr., and Madaline (Angell) Brown and a resident of Seekonk for more than sixty years.
He is survived by four sons, Stephen D.
Brown and his wife, Rose, of Rehoboth, Douglas A.
Brown and his wife, Eileen, of Rehoboth, Thomas W.
Brown and his wife, Lynda, of Rehoboth and Allen E.
Brown, Jr. and his wife, Mary, of Rehoboth; fifteen grandchildren, Jennifer (Brown) Majewski, Douglas, Jr., Adam, Holly (Brown) Cartin, Chelsea (Brown) Mendes, Kelly, Mitchell, Thomas, Madaline, Samuel, Genevieve and Ava Brown, Cassandra (Teixeira) Nunes, Joseph and Jacob Teixeira; ten great-grandchildren, Morgan and Ryan Majewski, Colin and Margaret Brown, Connor and Drew Cartin, Blake Brown, Molly Mendes, Jean Nunes, Joseph Teixeira, and many nieces and nephews.
He was the brother of the late Berniece A.
Brown, Jr., and uncle of his beloved godson the late Joseph Teixeira.
Allen and Ilene enjoyed camping on the beaches of Cape Cod and winters at their home in Ft.
He proudly served as a Sergeant in the 1st Reconnaissance Company, Headquarters Battalion, 1st Marine Division of the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War.
Graveside Services with Military Honors in Seekonk Cemetery, Newman Ave., Seekonk, will be private.
Visitation and floral tributes are respectfully omitted.
