Aline A. Fortin

Pawtucket – Aline A. (Ratté) Fortin, 83, passed away on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 with her family by her side at Miriam Hospital, Providence. She was the beloved wife of Rene J. Fortin for nearly sixty-five years. Born in Baie-des-Sables, QC, she was one of eighteen siblings, and the daughter of the late Joseph and Rose (Couillard) Ratté. Aline immigrated to the U.S. when she was seventeen years old and settled in Pawtucket. She was the proprietor of the former Aline’s Beauty Shoppe, Pawtucket, for over thirty years. After retiring, she and her husband would spend the winter months in Florida with her sisters and the summers in Canada with family and friends. Aline was a great card player, golfer and enjoyed a game of Bingo.
