Seekonk - Alice Camilla (Petersen) Soule, 86, of Seekonk, MA died Thursday, January 20, 2011 at Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro.

The beloved wife of William N.

Soule, they were married for 64 years.Daughter of the late Ida May & Hans Eric Petersen, she lived in Seekonk for 80 years, attended Seekonk schools and graduated from Pawtucket East High School with honors in 1942.

She worked as a bookkeeper for Hope Webbing, The Peerless Co, and Attleboro Dye & Finishing and for seven years volunteered as the coordinator of the Share Food Program.Mrs.

Soule was a founding member of Memorial Baptist Church in Seekonk where she served on the Diaconate, Finance and Music Committees.

An avid craftswoman and quilter, she used her talents in support of many church functions, including the annual Calendar Dinner and Christmas Bazaar.

She was active in the Women’s Fellowship and sang in the choir for over 50 years.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Bruce E. & Amy K.

Soule of Yarmouth, ME, two grandsons and their wives Benjamin P.

Soule & Nicole Simone and Nathan E. & Mary A.

Soule, and two great-grandchildren, Christina & Nicholas.Calling hours will be Sunday, January 23, from 4-7 pm at William W.

Tripp Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave, Pawtucket, RI.

The funeral service will be held at Memorial Baptist Church, 340 Central Avenue, Seekonk, MA on Monday, January 24 at 11:00am.In lieu of flowers gifts may be made to the Memorial Baptist Church 50th Anniversary Fund.
