Pawtucket – Alice (Malkasian) Bennett, 89, passed away on Friday, May 4, 2018. She was the widow of Clarke H. Bennett. Born in Pawtucket in 1928, she was a daughter of the late Ohannes and Hermena (Nahabedian) Malkasian. Alice was a graduate of Johnson & Wales Business School. She was a retiree of Federal Civil Service and started her career at the U.S. Army Nuke Site, Rehoboth, MA, until the site was phased out. Alice was a member of Sts. Vartanantz Armenian Apostolic Church, Providence, and served there as a volunteer with ARS Social Services from 1982 to 1995. She was also a Hospice volunteer for many years with the Visiting Nurses, Pawtucket. Alice was a member of the National Association for Retired Federal Employees, NARFE Chapter 13, and served as an officer for 18 years, first as vice-president and later as president. Alice leaves many nieces and nephews including, Marc Malkasian, David Malkasian, Gregory Wahl, Christine Wahl and Suzanne Chattelle. She was the sister of the late Albert Malkasian,...
