Alice R. Antunes

Pawtucket – Alice R. (Pedro) Antunes, 91, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 7, 2019. She was the beloved wife of the late Justin J. Antunes. A lifelong resident of Pawtucket, she was a daughter of the late Joaquim and Rose (Medeiros) Pedro. Alice was a switchboard operator at ITT Royal Electric for twenty-two years before retiring in 1986. She had been a past-president of the Portuguese Social Club Ladies Auxiliary. She leaves a son, John J. Antunes; a sister, Marion Marques; four grandchildren, John Joseph Antunes, Bridget Nicole Antunes, Katie Patricia Antunes and Jenna Rose Antunes; two step-grandchildren, Matthew Eric Sipka and Cameron Joseph Sipka; a sister-in-law, Georgette Pedro and nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late George Pedro and his wife, Ruth, Francis Pedro and Antonio Pedro and his wife, Rita. Her funeral will be held Tuesday, September 17th at 9 a.m. from WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m....
