Pawtucket - Alfred Farnworth, Jr., 98, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 28, 2012.
He was the beloved husband of the late Ruth E. (Crocker) Farnworth.
Born in Boston, he was a son of the late Alfred, Sr. and Florence (Barker) Farnworth.
Farnworth was a foreman at H&H Screw Products, Ashton, RI, for many years until his retirement in 1971 and was a former member of the Narragansett Bay Wheelman Bicycle Club.
He was an active and longtime member of the former Trinity Episcopal Church, Pawtucket.
He also enjoyed time spent at the Leon Mathieu Senior Center.
Farnworth was a graduate of Bryant College and was an accountant for small business.
He leaves one daughter, Dorothy A.
Campbell of Pawtucket; four grandchildren, Kristin L.
Campbell; five great-grandchildren and one brother, Walter Farnworth of Coventry.
He was the father of the late Marilyn R.
Cihak and brother of the late Muriel Farnworth.
His funeral will be Thursday at 10 a.m. at WILLIAL W.
TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket.
Interment will follow at Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton, MA.
VISITATION Wednesday 4 to 7 p.m.
