Pawtucket – Alda Pina, 89, passed away on Monday, July 25, 2016. A lifelong resident of Pawtucket, she was the daughter of the late Maria Pina. Alda leaves two nephews and a niece, Jack M. Cruz of Pawtucket, Christopher A. Cruz of Seekonk and Linda A. Card of Milford, NH. She also leaves many great-nieces and nephews and one great-great-nephew. Alda was the sister of the late Jack Cruz. Her funeral will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. from WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Noon in St. Cecilia Church, 755 Central Ave. Interment will follow at Notre Dame Cemetery. Visitation and flowers are respectfully omitted. Memorial gifts to the Pawtucket Animal Shelter, C/O Pawtucket Police Department, 121 Roosevelt Ave., Pawtucket, RI 02860 will be appreciated.
