Alda Broadbent

Fairhaven, MA – Alda (Amaral) Broadbent, 85, formerly of Pawtucket, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 12, 2022.

She was the beloved wife of the late Raymond J.

Born in Cumberland, she was a daughter of the late Manuel, Sr. and Maria Augusta (Machado) Amaral.

Alda worked in various rolls at Hasbro, Ann & Hope, Sara Coventry and Bob’s Stores, where she made many good friends, until her retirement.

She will be lovingly remembered by all whose lives she has touched over the past eighty-five years.

Alda leaves a daughter, Lisa J.

Kenney and her husband, Jerry, of Wareham, MA; a sister, Clara Anjos of Lincoln, and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

She was the sister of the late Manuel “Barney” Amaral, Jr., and Rosa Asselin.

Relatives and friends are welcome to attend VISITATION on Thursday, January 20th beginning at 10 a.m. at WILLIAM W.

TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket.

Services will follow at 11 a.m. in the funeral home.

Interment with her late husband will be at Swan Point Cemetery, Providence.
