Pawtucket - Albert "Al" L. Soucy, 90, passed away peacefully at home with family and his much-loved dog, Blaze by his side on Sunday, December 28, 2025. He was the beloved husband of Elizabeth "Betty" M. (Hawkins) Soucy for 42 loving years.
Al was a United States Army veteran of the Korean War and went on to a career as a machinist at Tech Industries in Woonsocket until his retirement. He enjoyed deep sea fishing, traveling, woodworking and building things around the house. Al will be remembered for his great sense of humor and his immense generosity. He had a passion for helping others whenever they needed a hand. Al will be lovingly remembered by all whose lives he has touched over the past ninety years.
Besides his loving wife, Al leaves three children, David Magnuski of Rehoboth, Loriann Magnuski of West Warwick, and Tammi Hawkins of Tiverton; sister Claire Renell of Providence; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Irene Pion and Richard Soucy.
Relatives and friends are welcome to attend VISITATION beginning on Friday, January 2nd at 10 a.m. followed by Services at Noon at WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket. Interment with Military Honors will follow at Highland Memorial Park Cemetery in Johnston.
