Smith, Jr., 81, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 1, 2015.
He was the beloved husband of Theresa (Lambert) Smith for 58 years.
Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Albert L., Sr. and Catherine (Traynor) Smith.
Al was a United States Air Force veteran of the Korean War.
He worked as an architectural aluminum draftsman and sales manager for many years before his retirement.
Al was also a volunteer fireman for the Town of Seekonk and a member of the Greater Pawtucket Umpires Association (GPUA) and umpired at the Cooperstown Dream Park, Cooperstown, New York.
He enjoyed fishing, hunting and gardening.
Besides his loving wife, he leaves three sons, Paul M.
Smith and his wife, Mary of Seekonk, Peter P.
Smith and his wife, Donna of Attleboro and Philip M.
Smith and his wife, Barbara of Douglas and four grandchildren, Kyle, Taryn, Hannah and Ryan.
His funeral will be held Tuesday at 9 a.m. from WILLIAM W.
TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Parish, (St.
Mary Church), Coyle Drive, Seekonk.
VISITATION will be Monday 4 to 7 p.m.
