Lamarre Jr., 85, of Pawtucket, passed away at home on Saturday, November 17, 2012 surrounded by his loving family.

He was the husband of Marilyn (Arthur) Lamarre and the late Doris (Deslongchamps) Lamarre.

Lamarre was born in 1927 in Pawtucket, a son of the late Albert J., Sr. and Alice (Girouard) Lamarre.

He was a United States Naval veteran of World War II.

In his younger years he enjoyed playing tennis and basketball, he also enjoyed fresh and saltwater fishing.

Albert taught for over 30 years in the Pawtucket school system at Goff Jr.

High and Shea High School as a wood shop and industrial arts teacher.

He was a communicant of St.

Leo Church, Pawtucket, where he was a member of the St.

Vincent de Paul Society and St.

Mary’s Church Charismatic Prayer Group.

Besides his wife, Marilyn, he leaves his son Albert J., III and his wife, Jean of Pawtucket and their children Beth Ann and David Lamarre.

His daughter Mary Grace Hoption and her husband, Terry Hoption of Gaithersburg, MD and her children James, Holly and Joy Pothier.

His son Paul Lamarre and his wife, Lynne of Lincoln and their daughter Renee.

His son Francis Lamarre of Pawtucket.

He was the brother of Therese Forrest in Florida, Leonard Lamarre of Taunton, Maurice Lamarre of Pawtucket and Francis Lamarre in Florida.

His funeral will be held Saturday at 8 a.m. at WILLIAM W.

TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 a.m. in the Church of St.

Leo the Great, 697 Central Ave., Pawtucket.

Interment will follow at Notre Dame Cemetery.

VISITATION will be Friday 5 to 8 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts to the St.

Vincent de Paul Society, C/O Blessed John Paul II Parish, 697 Central Ave., Pawtucket, RI 02861 will be appreciated.
