Pawtucket – Albert J.
Goyette, 87, a retired electrical engineer, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Monday, April 25, 2016.
He was the beloved husband of Mary I. (McDermott) Goyette, the couple recently celebrated their sixty-third wedding anniversary.
A lifelong resident of Pawtucket, he was a son of the late Hector and Irene M. (Beach) Goyette.
Al was a Korean War U.S.
He was an organist at various venues throughout Rhode Island for over forty years.
Al enjoyed model railroading and was an artist who was talented in sculpting and painting.
Besides his wife, he leaves three daughters, Gladys Brierley and her late husband, Billy of Mississippi, Corrine Goyette-McGinn of Mississippi and Cheryl McWilliams and her husband, Timothy of Pawtucket; three sons, Joseph Goyette and his wife, Christine of Cranston, Paul Goyette and his wife, Vicki of Florida and Christopher Goyette and his wife, Michelle of Warwick; sixteen grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
He was the brother of the late Marcel, Norman and Richard Goyette.
His funeral with Military Honors will be held Friday at 9 a.m. from WILLIAM W.
TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in the Church of St.
Leo the Great, 697 Central Ave., Pawtucket.
Interment will be private.
VISITATION will be Thursday 4 to 7 p.m.
