Albert D. Giguere

Pawtucket – Albert D. Giguere, 82, passed away Tuesday, February 15, 2011. He was the beloved husband of the late Irene (Braganca) Giguere. Born in Woonsocket, a son of the late Roch G. and Beatrice (Lafleur) Giguere, he resided in Pawtucket over 60 years. Al was a World War II U.S. Navy veteran. He was employed by Texas Instruments, Attleboro until retiring in 1993 and was previously employed by the former Washburn Wire Company for over thirty years until its closing. Al was a member of the Italian DIP Club. He leaves a son, Theodore Giguere and his wife Deanne; four daughters, Joanne Viveiros and her husband Eugenio, Jeanne Machado and her husband Jeff, Joyce Thomson and Lisa Garber; two sisters, Alice L’Heureux and Rita Blais; twelve grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Roger and Roland Giguere. His funeral with Military Honors will be held Friday at 9 a.m. from WILLIAM W.
