Albert A. Casavant

July 15, 1949 — February 26, 2013

Casavant, 63, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 26, 2013.

He was the husband of Patricia (Morin) Casavant.

Born in Pawtucket, he was a son of the late Edgar E. and Theresa M. (Sorel) Casavant.

Albert retired from the U.S.

Air Force after 20 years of service and served during the Vietnam War era.

He then worked as a mail handler for the U.S.

Postal Service for 18 years until retiring.

Al was an avid gun collector and was a member of the Wincheck Gun Club, Coventry and the NRA.

Besides his wife, he leaves two children, Adam M.

Casavant and his wife, Cari of Westerly and Sarah L.

Lincourt and her husband, Joshua of Coventry; five grandchildren, Daelynn Casavant, Violet Lincourt, Joshua, Jeffrey and Catlin Richardson; eleven siblings, Robert, Suzanne, Rita, Pauline, Eugene, Janet, Peter, Paul, Marie, Frances and Michele and many nieces and nephews.

VISITATION will begin on Saturday, March 2, 2013 at 2:30 p.m. followed by Services at 5:30 p.m. at WILLIAM W.

TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket.

On Saturday, March 9, 2013, relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in the Church of St.

Leo the Great, 697 Central Ave., Pawtucket.In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts to Home and Hospice Care of RI, 1085 North Main St., Providence, RI 02904 or the DAV, Rhode Island Veterans Home, 480 Metacom Ave., Bristol, RI 02809 will be appreciated.
