Albert L. Bessette

North Providence – Albert L. Bessette, 90, of North Providence and Orlando, Florida, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Friday, October 4, 2013. He was the beloved husband of the late Claire A. (Cayer) Bessette. Born in Pawtucket, he was a son of the late George H. and Margaret L. (Thurber) Bessette. Albert was a World War II U.S. Army Air Corps veteran. He was employed by Marshall Contractors, Inc., Rumford and Fluor Global Engineering Construction Company until retiring ten years ago. Albert was a member of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America Local 94, Warwick; member of the D.A.V. and a life member of the Attleboro Lodge of Elks 1014, Attleboro. He leaves a daughter, Suzanne Deneault of North Providence; a son, Paul A. Bessette of Kingston, RI; grandchildren, Adam F. and Emilie C. Deneault both of North Providence and nieces and nephews.
