Pawtucket – Agnes V. (Boedeker) Flodin passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 30, 2012. She was the beloved wife of the late Gilbert E. Flodin. Born in Providence, she was the youngest of nine children of the late Charles and Jennie (Flynn) Boedeker. Agnes worked for the American Heart Association; Cherry & Webb; Home Insurance/Home Indemnity and New England Telephone. She was a longtime member of Newman Congregational Church, Rumford. Agnes also belonged to many local organizations including the Pawtucket Women’s Club; Order of VASA, Pioneer Lodge 506; Lincoln Garden Club; Notre Dame Hospital Women’s Club; Friends of The Scandinavian Home and St. Teresa Senior Citizens Club. She was a volunteer at Hamilton House; Memorial Hospital of RI and the American Red Cross. Agnes leaves a daughter, Dale J. Coupe and her husband, Robert of Cumberland; a son, Donald G. Flodin and his wife, Kimberly of Windham, NH and two grandchildren, Christina M. Flodin and Harrison G. Flodin. Services will be held Friday at 11...
