Raymond P. Rondeau

Attleboro – Raymond P. Rondeau, 80, passed away on Wednesday, October 12, 2022. He was the beloved husband of Carmen M. (Mazerolle) Rondeau for sixty beautiful years. Born in Central Falls, he was the son of the late Omer and Jeannette (Poulin) Rondeau. A veteran of the U.S. Airforce, Raymond proudly served his country during the Vietnam era. He worked as a machine assembler at the former Cumberland Engineering, South Attleboro, for over thirty-six years. Raymond was an avid bowler and a member of many leagues at East Providence Lanes. He also appreciated the arts and was a drummer in local and military bands during his youth. Raymond was a New England sports fan who enjoyed attending and watching the games. His family was his world, and he filled it partaking in his grandchildren’s activities and talents. Raymond will be remembered as a man who always put his family first and lived life to the fullest. Besides his loving wife, he is survived by four children, Diane Wildenhain and her husband, Matthew, of Pawtucket, Janet C. Rondeau-Mariano and her husband, Russell, also of Pawtucket, Ray D. Rondeau and his wife, Suzanne, of Olathe, KS and Jeanine C. Hornig and her husband, John, of Pawtucket; fourteen grandchildren, John-John, Alicia, Crystal, Stacie, Scott, Beth, Jennifer, Ray, Eric, Jamie, Jessica, Tabitha, Holly and Zachary; twenty-four great-grandchildren; a great-great-granddaughter; two sisters, Lucille Green and her late husband, Bill, of Ohio and Jeanne Flowers and her husband, Robert, of Richboro, Pennsylvania; a sister-in-law, Eunice Rondeau, of Pawtucket, and many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Norman Rondeau. His funeral will be held on Monday at 9:00 a.m. from WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Cecilia Church of St. John Paul II Parish, 755 Central Ave., Pawtucket. Interment will follow at Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket.
