Dorothy E. Ward

Dedham, MA – Dorothy E. (Davis) Ward, 83, of Dedham, MA and formerly of West Roxbury, MA, Seekonk, MA and Pawtucket, RI, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 7, 2012. She was the beloved wife of the late Thomas Ward. Born in Providence, RI, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Edica (Moore) Davis. Dorothy was a member of the former St. Martin’s Episcopal Church, Pawtucket, RI and had also been active in the Rhode Island Heart Association and the Easter Seal Stroke Club. She leaves three sons, Thomas R. Ward and his wife, Ursula Sayers-Ward of Baltimore, Maryland, and twin sons, Robert D. Ward and Richard F. Ward and his partner, Harrison Carmichael all of Roslindale, MA; a brother, Donald Davis of Hyde Park, MA; two nieces and a nephew. Services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, RI. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park, Johnston, RI.
